Paul Nichols grew up in Mecklenburg County, and came into a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ at 16 years old. He attended college and graduate school with the goal of finding the vocational ministry that the Lord had gifted him for. Amazingly, God led him to ministry through a career with public education in addition to service with a variety of denominational and inter-denominal churches in different areas of Virginia where he has lived.
Paul is a teacher and counselor, and served as an Administrator in several school divisions throughout the Commonwealth of VA, ultimately serving as Division Superintendent of Mecklenburg County Public Schools from 2015 to 2023.
The Lord continues to fulfill Paul’s life as described in Romans 8:22-31, along with his wife Kay. They are very blessed to continue to seek and serve the Living Messiah along with the ecclesia (ecclesia: God’s called out people) of Waters Edge “in lake country and beyond,” particularly through music, teaching, missionary outreach, and local fellowship development ministries.
