Children are welcome in all mid-week WEgrow studies that their parents may attend. We believe this establishes the importance of the Word of God as the cornerstone of family life. Also, we love to see families worship together. We believe that a child is most influenced in their worship of Jesus by how they see their parents worship. We also believe that it is first and foremost the responsibility of the parent to teach their children, from birth, the glorious riches of grace and mercy that can be found in a lifestyle of worship to the King. Finally, we believe God has gifted children to be uniquely effective in local and international ministry. Families are encouraged to minister alongside one another both in church sponsored events and in the regular weekly life of the individual family unit.

Great general thinking test from the late Dr. Martyn Lloyd Jones:Is our view right or aligned with God on a given topic? Ask this question: “Is this view humbling to me and glorifying to God?” If it is, then we’re probably leaning in the right direction, but if not, if our view seems to question God and glorify self, then there is “no need to argue or go in to details”… we are tracking in the wrong direction. Lord, help us always to track right in our thinking; help us always to humble ourselves and glorify thee.
