In mid 2000, in the midst of suffering the pains of a sinful life, Mike surrendered to the call of the Salvation and Lordship of Jesus. The process of getting there was a slow march of reading Scripture, attending church, praying, being witnessed to and realizing his own brokenness. But God changed Mike’s heart and his life began to transform outwardly as well.
Since then Mike has attended L.I.F.E. Bible College in Christiansburg, VA and completed his education at Liberty University in 2006. Since then, he has run his own business as a Web & Graphic Designer and Illustrator, taught private art classes and is currently teaching art at Mecklenburg County High School.
Besides serving God through his work, Mike has had the privilege of ministering through music, leading prayer groups and Bible studies, going on missions trips and speaking monthly at the local nursing home for Sunday services.
He believes His first ministry calling is to be a loving and faithful husband and father. His wife Amanda is his lovely helpmate in all things and his girls are his delight, song, warmth and rest.
