Why do we go on mission? Why do we send people “beyond” our borders? Why do we invest our time and finances in unknown peoples?
“When a foreigner who is not of your people Israel, comes from a far country for the sake of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm, when he comes and prays toward this house, hear from heaven your dwelling place and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to you, in order that all peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you…” (2 Chron 6:32-33).
Because it is the heart of God that all nations know His goodness and steadfast love —
“For He is good, for his steadfast love endures forever” (2 Chron 7:3b).
And we at WECC, by the grace of God, desire to align our hearts with the will of God:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” (Matt 28:19-20)
